With terrible events happening in our nation and in our world every day, it would be so easy to submit to the siren call of despair. If we are to keep living with any degree of hope or joy, we must instead ask ourselves: To what or to whom do we really belong, heart and soul? What leads us to feel, again, “the stream of life that runs through our veins night and day,” and gives us hope when headlines are dire?
