We may love with wild and abundant love and yet sometimes we, like our parents before us, have wounds and cracks and foibles that get in the way of our caring and loving. Whether we care for children (young or grown), for spouses or friends, or even for our own aging parents, sometimes we just can’t seem to do enough. So what is enough? Where is our joy, our light, and our strength as caregivers and as those raised by imperfect human beings like ourselves?
