We have experienced so much during the last ten months: challenge, isolation, economic difficulties, illness, political upheaval, and even – for some of us – a profound sense of loss and grief. It is so easy to throw blame around, even perhaps blaming ourselves for what we could have done better or differently. This Sunday, let’s grant ourselves and others a moment of reprieve. Author Nayomi Munaweera writes: “…as we go through these uncertain times, I’m grateful for a sense of mutual forgiveness.” This Sunday morning we will explore how we might forgive others and ourselves as a start toward personal and communal healing from the many illnesses of 2020.
Tamara Murray will lead the Zoom service with Rev. Jane E. Mauldin in the pulpit.
