Do Justice, Love Mercy, Walk Humbly

Please join us this Sunday as we listen to the prophetic words of Rev. Dr. William Barber, II.  He describes himself as Preacher, theological conservatist liberal evangelical Biblicist.  “I am a conservative because I support a tradition that teaches us to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God”. Rev. Dr. Barber has spoken at the UUA General Assembly in the past.  Today’s sermon is one he gave at the National Cathedral, June 2020, after George Floyd was murdered in the street by the police.  There are some hard truths in this sermon but he inspires us to learn the truth and to seek justice in the world.  I couldn’t think of a better voice to listen to during this month celebrating Black History.

Tamara Murray will lead the service, Angie Hoffpauer will lead the Meditation.
