To mark the transition into the new year, we will work with the four elements (Earth, Air, Fire, Water) to ritually honor the gifts of 2023, leave behind what we do not want to bring onward with us, and create a single intention to carry us forward. This intergenerational ritual is contemplative and participatory.  Led by High Priestess Katie Sivani Gelfand (FUUNO) and co-created with Erica Merchant-Lee (NSUUS).

The New Year Service will be held at First Church UU in New Orleans, 5212 S. Claiborne Ave, New Orleans, LA 70115, starting at 10:30 am.

There will be no Zoom this Sunday, and no service from Northshore UU.
