“Creative endeavor is a life giving art.  To create is to give of yourself, breathing life into an idea.”   What is your creative expression?  Do you draw, bake, sing?   Is your creativity expressed in poetry?  Perhaps you pour your energy into embroidery, sewing, weaving or pottery.   Or perhaps your family is your creative expression, encouraging those around you to be healthy and happy.

     This Sunday we will celebrate the marvelous creativity we each bring to this congregation. Dian McIlwain and Nina Helfert will lead the service but we hope that many of you will bring something you have ‘created’ to show to us and, if you like,  tell something about it.

   Erica will share her special insight into Asian art. Maggie will read one of her latest poems, and Melissa will play one of her amazing compositions on the piano.  And please plan to stay a few minutes after the service for a treat that Aya has for us.  She will lead us in a guided meditation accompanied by special tonal music played by her on singing bowls.  

We will have fun and get to know each other better.
