Loving the Earth Fiercely

The earth is scorched and burning. Our air, soil, and waters are being consumed and destroyed in this generation. Thus, we will gather this Sunday morning in outrage and optimism, in fear for the future and with hope for what’s possible. We will gather to celebrate the earth which we love dearly, as life itself, and to consider what that love calls us to do. We will gather in the spirit of our ancestors who pushed through difficult times, and in the spirit of our children who need us to be as strong. We will gather to ask: As Unitarian Universalists, how can our faith inform our actions to remedy and mitigate climate change?
