NSUUS Ministers
We are so thankful to welcome Leslie Runnels, UU minister from New Orleans, as our NSUUS part-time consulting minister. Leslie joined our church in 2023. Leslie dreams of a co-led anti-racist ministry focused on collective liberation. She is an artist with a daily practice and teaches Art Journaling as Spiritual Play, where the process of making art soothes the processing of daily life and emotional experiences. Leslie is an organizer and trainer with the Peoples’ Institute for Survival and Beyond, where she travels across the country working with grassroots, non-profits, governmental agencies, and businesses who want to have an anti-racist analysis incorporated into their visions and missions.
Our very first called minister, Rev. Dr. Jane Mauldin, served our church from 1986 to 1997 and again from 2016 to 2023 as our part-time consulting minister. Rev. Jane is now our beloved NSUUS Minister Emerita. We are so thankful for her service to NSUUS throughout the years.
NSUUS services are also led by community leaders speaking about topics of interest, leaders of our Worship Committee, and members of our congregation. Upcoming guest ministers and sermon topics are listed in our weekly UU Update newsletter and in our Upcoming Worship Services.
