The concept of an odyssey is derived from the ancient Greek poem of the same name by the poet Homer. It has come to mean a journey, often fraught with challenges and difficulties. Each of us has our own spiritual journey, one that can have challenges and difficulties, but also rewards.
We will gather for a shortened service and delicious potluck lunch and discussion with our NSUU family after Angie Hoffpauir shares a bit about her own spiritual journey. So, bring your favorite “soul” food, or whatever the spirit moves you, and your open hearts and minds for a meaningful time together.
These discussions can lead to a deeper understanding of ourselves and each other as we discuss where we have come from, as well as what we seek.
PLEASE NOTE: Our RE kids will go straight to their classrooms rather than come into the sanctuary, and will come in later join us for lunch. They will have their own table with their RE leaders. See you Sunday!
