Jesus lived at a time of great brutality and oppression. The Buddha saw real sickness, aging, and death. We also live in a time when we witness terrorism, suffering and despair, both afar and quite near. What spiritual messages do the laughing Buddha, laughing Jesus and the masks of Carnival have for us this season? We will also celebrate the investiture of our new 2023 Board of Trustees. The Rev.
