Water sometimes brings us beauty and healing grace. However as we have seen this past week, water can also be a destructive force in our lives, beyond imagining. This Sunday we come together for our annual in-gathering “Water Ceremony” to reflect on the power of water and community in our lives. Please bring with you – either in a small vial, or metaphorically – some water from a source that is meaningful for you, perhaps as a place that nurtures you, perhaps from a place that challenges you. Our children and youth will be with us for the first part of the service, and then will join their Religious Exploration classes for the start of this year’s classes.
